This Excel routine for shelf-life estimation has been developed from the “SAS/PC” programme system STAB for expiration dating period estimation” supplied by the Division of Biometrics, centre for Drug Evaluation and Research, Food and Drug Administration. (dated March 9th 1992) provided by the FDA.

The routine performs the same evaluation as the SAS routines. The routine is provided at no cost for use by members of the pharmaceutical industry, however, No liability is accepted in respect of its use.
